UAS engine manufacturer Sky Power from Germany says it is focused on quality, customer care and an efficient, sustainable, lean manufacturing processes. This has now been confirmed with their successful ISO recertification.
“The recognition is important for us as an international company,” explains Sky Power managing director Karsten Schudt. ISO 9001 defines the requirements for quality management. The company says “UAS-customers expect the highest quality, due to regulations for the use of UAS in different applications and of course because of the costs of unmanned systems.” Therefore, the German engine manufacturer has strived to meet these expectations since the company was founded. “It is important for us that an external certification organization attests again that we fulfill these self-imposed requirements, “adds Schudt.
Sky Power is a manufacturer of two2-stroke combustion engines and Wankel engines for Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) as well as hybrid applications. In addition to its own development and production, Sky Power produces all engines in Germany. Customizations, new developments and the expansion of the performance of the internal combustion engines are a further corporate goal, according to the company.
