Spirit Airlines now using TRAX for fleet maintenance

Spirit Airlines is the latest airline to commence using TRAX eMobility Apps for fleet maintenance, with a view to increasing efficiency and decreasing turnaround time in the hangar.

According to TRAX, Spirit plans to launch the following Apps: QuickTurn, TaskControl, Line Control and EzStock. Each app provides data in real-time, with updates possible via the use of WiFi or cellular signal. By interfacing the eMobility Apps with its core maintenance & engineering system, Spirit aims to further improve productivity and at the same time decrease maintenance costs.

Spirit Airlines is an American low-cost carrier headquartered in Miramar, Florida. Its fleet of Airbus aircraft operate scheduled domestic flights to almost 80 destinations in mainland United States and in the Caribbean and Latin America.

TRAX provides maintenance software solutions to over 185 customers. Its suite of products support real-time data transactions, digital signatures, paperless Workpacks and manuals, RFID, offline operations and web-based applications.
